ADDITIONAL POLICIES & FACTS

The best way to measure for your rail is to start at the bottom step/riser and take a tape measure and place it on the nose/lip of the first bottom step and go up to the top step/riser and place the other end of the tape measure to the nose/lip of that Step/riser. You should then add 7” to each end if your wall permits. If you do not have the additional wall space to add the 7” on each end, then don’t add that to your final measurement. The cast iron brackets that come with your rail are already pre-drilled and ready for Installation. However, the rail itself is not pre-drilled. That way you can place it on top of your brackets where your studs are located. It is then attached to the bracket with self tapping screws we provide. In some rare cases, pilot holes may need to be drilled prior to using the self tapping screws, if your drill is not strong enough or you are not able to apply the proper amount of pressure on the drill.
